About Us

Welcome to D.A.W.G.S (Dog Action Working Group Scotland). We are a dog welfare charity based in the North East of Scotland. We are dedicated to finding loving new homes for unwanted dogs, or dogs who's owners have had a change in circumstances and can no longer care for them.

Since our formation in 1994, we have helped rehome over 2,000 dogs and puppies. D.A.W.G.S is an independent, registered charity solely funded by public donations and fund raising events. We receive no government funding and we are not part of a national organisation.

If you are interested in rehoming a dog, or have a dog you would like us to rehome, you will find all the information you require on this site.

On the site you will also find information on assisting us with charitable donations, legacy donations or fundraising events.
