| On Friday 8th October we will be hosting a fun Bingo Night at the Ashvale Restaurant, Great Western Road, Aberdeen. The tickets are hot of the press and can be booked by calling the DAWGS office on 01224 208989. The office hours are Monday to Friday 9.30 - 1.30. |

| David, our chairperson, often accompanied by Molly the chairdog, and Gordon, our Treasurer are both very happy to come along and give an informative talk about our charity and its aims. Their talks have been well received at many venues so they are well practiced now in their presentations and they enjoy the question and answers sessions which follow. STORAGE SPACE - news item added on - - 07/04/10

| We are still trying to source storage and sorting space. We are very lucky to be regularly given donations of bric - a - brac etc from our supporters. With these items we can raise a substantial amount of funds annually and the events like jumble sales and our week in the charity shop help to keep the name of our charity to the fore. Unfortunately the warehouse where we sorted and stored these donations has to be vacated shortly and we are deperately seeking an alternative place to house these items. It does not have to be of warehouse proportions, something the size of a large double garage would be great. If you can think of anywhere, obviously it would have to be very inexpensive, please contact us on 01224 208989. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9.30 - 1.30. |

| Our big event of the year, DAWG DAY, will be held on Sunday 22nd August at Hazlehead Games field. Bring an umbrella! If you do we may have a sunny day for a change. It is always a great day out for everyone, with fun dog classes and plenty of entertainment for young and old. We have lots of stalls, food vendors, bouncy castles etc. If you wish to take part in any of the fun dog classes you register on the day from 11.30 onwards. It really is a fun day out for dog lovers and spectators alike, come and join us. |
